Non-Emergency Medical Transportation services are meant for people who need help getting to medical appointments but don’t require an ambulance. It’s all about providing safe, accessible transportation for those with medical, mobility, or financial challenges.
CaringMiles serves entire Orange County and Los Angeles County
We recommend scheduling reservations at least 24 hours prior to your appointment, but we can accommodate last minute booking based on availability.
We understand that plans can change. You can cancel or reschedule your appointment without charge up to 24 hours in advance. For cancellations or changes made less than 24 hours before the appointment, a cancellation fee may apply.
At this moment, we are only working with Private Pay clients, as we are awaiting approval confirmation from Medical to be approved NEMT transportation provider.
We understand the cost can be concern, NEMT services are designed to provide a higher level of care and safety. Our drivers are trained to assist patients with mobility issues, and vehicles are fully equipped to transport wheelchairs, walker, or other medical devices safely.
Yes, our vehicles are wheelchair-accessible vehicles (WAV) and are specially designed or modified to safely transport passengers who use wheelchairs, power chairs, or mobility scooters. These vehicles allow for easy entry, secure seating, and a comfortable ride. Key Futures - fold-out ramps, spacious interior, 4-point securement system, lap and shoulder belts, low floor and raised roof designed for headroom, ADA compliant.

We absolutely offer this service, this means driver will pick you up at your front door and delivers you directly to the door of your appointment, home, or any other destination.

Compassion in Motion, A Mission Born from Real Life
Hi, I am Gosia, the founder of CaringMiles Medical Transportation
This business began with one man’s journey—an older gentleman I had the honor of helping during his battle with cancer. He relied on a wheelchair and needed frequent transportation to medical appointments. Kris, co-founder of CaringMiles used his car since he owned black car service of his own, but it wasn't wheelchair accessible. Every trip was a challenge - lifting the chair, helping him in and out, and making do without the right equipment. Made us realize how much better things could be. Kris became more than just his driver— he was his support system, his listener, and often the only familiar face he saw on hard days. I often came to his house to keep him company, offer support and listen to his amazing life stories. I saw firsthand how essential reliable, compassionate transportation is for people who are facing serious health challenges.
I saw how much dignity matters, how patience and respect can ease someone’s day, and how transportation can be about so much more than just getting from point A to B. When he passed, we knew his journey had left a lasting impact on us — and I wanted to honor it by helping others in the same way.
That’s how CaringMiles was born: from a place of deep empathy and a commitment to serve others with the same care we gave him.
