No Neighbor Left Behind
The CaringMiles Community Fund: A Two-Part Mission
At CaringMiles Medical Transportation, we believe that health should never depend on your ability to pay for a ride. Our Community Fund is a donor-supported initiative designed to provide $0-cost medical transport for seniors, veterans, and neighbors in Orange County who are facing financial or mobility hardships.
Part 1: For the Riders (Requesting Help)
Are you—or someone you care for—caught in an insurance gap? Is a Medi-Cal renewal delay or a lack of transportation keeping you from a life-saving appointment?
-
Our Commitment: We provide professional, door-to-door transport at no cost to eligible recipients.
-
How to Start: Fill out our secure, HIPAA-compliant intake form. Whether it’s dialysis, oncology, or a specialist visit, we are here to bridge the gap.
Part 2: For the Donors (Providing Help)
Our vans move on the fuel of community generosity. When you donate to the CaringMiles Community Fund, you aren't just giving money; you are giving a neighbor their health back.
-
Your Impact: 100% of your donation goes directly toward the operational costs of a "Gap Ride."
-
How to Help: Become a monthly sponsor or give a one-time gift to ensure that no neighbor in Orange County is left behind.
This mission only works when both sides of our community come together
To our neighbors, our local businesses, and those in need of a lift:
Today, we are inviting all of you to be a part of that bridge through the CaringMiles Community Fund.

Bridging the Gap: Why CaringMiles Exists, from idea to impact
When the System Fails, the Community Steps In
We’ve been on the road for over a year, but the true mission of CaringMiles was defined by a phone call we received from a local medical facility.
The Problem: The facility's social worker was in a bind. They had a patient who needed to attend their weekly dialysis - extremely essential treatment and wheelchair accessible vehicle was needed as well. The patient’s Medi-Cal renewal had been delayed, leaving them in a coverage vacuum.
The Question: The facility called us asking, "Are there any government options for this? How do we get this patient to their appointments while the paperwork is in limbo?"
The Harsh Reality: The honest answer was: No. While there are government programs, they often move at the speed of bureaucracy, not the speed of medical necessity. Most government transportation requires active, verified coverage. If the paperwork isn't "green," the wheels don't turn.
Our Response: We realized that day that being a "transportation company" wasn't enough. We needed to be a community solution. We stepped in to cover those rides, but it sparked the creation of the CaringMiles Community Fund.
We built this fund so that when a facility calls us with a "gap case," we don't have to say "no." We can say, "The government options aren't ready yet, but our Community Fund is."
